In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Medical Technologist is responsible for performing specimen testing and operates various laboratory instruments and reports results to appropriate personnel. This position is also responsible for obtaining samples for analysis and oversees maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
