About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment in Bethel, AK. Assignment: Variable - 8-hour shifts, days, evenings, or nights Start Date: 3/10/2026 Contract: 26 weeks Traveler Policy: ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID-19 VACCINATIONS . Private Housing is not provided. All housing are shared units. No Pets allowed. Airfare is paid initially by the candidate and/or the agency and will be reimbursed upon the candidate's arrival here in Bethel, AK. Location: Bethel, AK 99559 Traveler is NOT permitted to travel until ALL the credentials have been received and cleared by the recruiter. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field required.
Must be board eligible by NCA or ASCP and complete board certification within one year of employment
One to three years of related or progressively more responsible experience in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology or a formal student internship
Certification at MT by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or CLS by the National Accrediting Agency (NCA) within one year of employment
Clinical laboratory instrumentation
Laboratory generalist
Must be capable of working independently and providing direction to Medical Laboratory Assistants.
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the laboratory manager, the technician is responsible for performing laboratory tests
performing quality control procedures
communication with physicians, nurses, and patients.
