Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment in Bethel, AK. Assignment: Variable - 8-hour shifts, days, evenings, or nights Start Date: 3/10/2026 Contract: 26 weeks Traveler Policy: ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID-19 VACCINATIONS . Private Housing is not provided. All housing are shared units. No Pets allowed. Airfare is paid initially by the candidate and/or the agency and will be reimbursed upon the candidate's arrival here in Bethel, AK. Location: Bethel, AK 99559 Traveler is NOT permitted to travel until ALL the credentials have been received and cleared by the recruiter. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field required.
  • Must be board eligible by NCA or ASCP and complete board certification within one year of employment
  • One to three years of related or progressively more responsible experience in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology or a formal student internship
  • Certification at MT by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or CLS by the National Accrediting Agency (NCA) within one year of employment
  • Clinical laboratory instrumentation
  • Laboratory generalist
  • Must be capable of working independently and providing direction to Medical Laboratory Assistants.
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the laboratory manager, the technician is responsible for performing laboratory tests
  • performing quality control procedures
  • communication with physicians, nurses, and patients.
