The technologist contributes to the overall efficiency of the laboratory by answering phones, assisting with paperwork, and supporting other staff as needed. They are responsible for reviewing all lab work within 24 hours and assisting staff with quality control, quality assurance, and instrument troubleshooting. The position requires independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision, and all work must be performed ethically and legally, following organizational policies and procedures.
