About The Position

Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc, an Affiliate of Apis Services, is seeking to hire Part-Time Medical Technician (Med Tech) to provide medication administration, documentation and control to individuals within our Berks area. This position will assist individuals in our Personal Care Program under the 2600 Regulatory Compliance. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
  • Some previous experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written, with proper use of grammar and vocabulary, is required.
  • The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance, & FBI as well as possess a valid PA Driver's License.
  • The candidate must pass a Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Medication Administration, Documentation and Control.
  • Assist with program licensing annually and home activities as prescribed in operation regulations.
  • Work with the Administrator to ensure that all medication needs of the individuals are met.
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of all the individuals residing in the facility.
