About The Position

As a Medical Technician , you will play a critical role in supporting nurses, physicians, and technologists by delivering direct patient care and performing technical procedures in a dynamic cardiovascular environment. You will assist in patient mobility, diagnostic testing, and overall clinic flow—ensuring compassionate, high-quality care and an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Willingness to assist across departments and travel to support other CIS locations as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Medical technician or medical assistant training or experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures including Electrocardiograms (EKGs), Holter/Event monitor application, and Exercise Treadmill Tests (ETTs)
  • Assist in phlebotomy and laboratory support including venipuncture and PT/INR testing
  • Support nursing and technical teams in patient preparation, transport, documentation, and monitoring
  • Contribute to efficient clinic operation by maintaining equipment, restocking supplies, and performing weekly OSHA checklists
  • Create accurate, complete electronic stress test reports and communicate effectively with other departments to ensure patient flow
  • Support the nuclear medicine team with Adenosine and Perfusion Stress Testing and associated documentation
  • Deliver care in a warm, professional manner and ensure safety and comfort for every patient
