About The Position
The Medical Technician will provide first-aid treatment to employees and management as necessary. This individual will perform preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and urinalysis for drug testing. You will provide first-aid treatment to employees who become ill or injured, assessing the need for further medical attention. Perform drug testing following standard operating procedure, chain-of-custody procedure and Ashley's Substance Abuse Manual. Maintain appropriate injury documentation. Complete on-site shop floor injury follow-ups with employees with work related injuries. Train employees regarding blood borne pathogens and First-Aid CPR, AED.
