About The Position

The RN will provide care in an acute care medical/surgical unit. The role encompasses services related to spinal cord injuries, telemetry, orthopedics, medicine, oncology, neurology, acute rehabilitation, general surgery, and post-operative care.

Requirements

  • BLS certification accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Unrestricted license to practice nursing in one of the States, Territories, or Commonwealths of the United States or the District of Columbia
  • Experience: All contract personnel will have a minimum of two-year direct patient care experience within the last three years in the field.
  • All Med/Surg Registered Nurses shall have at least two (2) years of experience in an acute care, medical/surgical setting exclusive of agency assignments and must have worked within the last six (6) months in the above settings.
  • Education: ASN accepted; BSN preferred
  • Education must have been completed at a school accredited by the ACEN or CCNE.
