About The Position
Medical Surgical Nursing Start Date: ASAP Shift: 12-hour shifts (Day) EPIC and Cerner experience required Competitive estimated pay package: $1500
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and guidelines.
- Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgery or dealing with various medical conditions.
- Monitor vital signs and manage patient care plans under the direction of a physician or nurse manager.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Communicate with patients and their families to provide support and education regarding care plans.
- Document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team promptly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following hospital protocols and guidelines.
