About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical-Surgical Neurology RN to join our team. The RN will provide care for ill, injured, and recovering adult patients in a patient-centered care model. This role requires autonomous clinical assessments and decision-making while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required.
• Florida RN license or multistate license; must obtain Florida license if relocating.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); BSN preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required prior to start.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive patient data pertinent to their health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Develop individualized care plans with measurable outcomes.
• Promote patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Ensure effective use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatments, providing ongoing support throughout their stay.
