About The Position
Overview We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , internally referred to as LPN or LVN, in our Medical Surgical Unit. As an LPN/LVN in our Med Surg Unit, you will provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, focusing on tasks like monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with patient care. Shift’s Available : Days Employment Type : Per diem/PRN Hours : 12 hour shifts: 7a - 7p Location: Riverview Regional Medical Center, Gadsden, AL Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Competitive compensation Collaborative work teams Generous medical benefits plan 401K Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Provide direct and indirect patient care services which requires technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care Meets the communication needs of the patient and family Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse Nurses provide CPR, Patient Care, Update Documentation, Specimens, Wound Care and Vital Signs Qualifications Education and Work Experience Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. Requirements
