Medical Surgical Licensed Practical nurse/LVN
About The Position
Pro Med Healthcare Services is currently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) for Medical Surgical positions. This role involves providing quality nursing care to patients in medical-surgical units, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout their hospital stay. As an LPN/LVN in medical-surgical settings, you will work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, monitor patient conditions, and assist with treatment plans. Start: ASAP Estimated Pay Package: $1500 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights 7p-7a Unit is rehab beds for wound care, PT, IV therapy
Requirements
- Active and valid LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in medical-surgical nursing or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a healthcare team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- 1 year of hospital experience
- perm address +50mi from facility

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist with patient assessments and report any changes in condition promptly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and health management.
