About The Position

As a Medical Students Coordinator with HCA Healthcare, you will serve as the primary contact for medical schools, medical students, and HCA program staff. Your role will involve coordinating medical student rotations from scheduling to onboarding and offboarding, ensuring compliance with HCA, medical school, and accrediting body policies and procedures. You will also act as a liaison between medical schools and supervising faculty to ensure end-of-rotation evaluations are completed in a timely manner. Effective communication with students, schools, and program leadership regarding onboarding and orientation steps is essential. Additionally, you will maintain medical student files and documents in accordance with HCA records retention policies and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in education, program evaluation, or related fields.
  • 2 years of medical education experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for medical schools, medical students, and HCA program staff.
  • Coordinate medical student rotations from scheduling to onboarding and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with HCA, medical school, and accrediting body policies and procedures.
  • Act as liaison between medical schools and supervising faculty for end-of-rotation evaluations.
  • Communicate effectively with students, schools, and program leadership regarding onboarding and orientation.
  • Enter all students and rotations in rotation management software.
  • Respond to inquiries from stakeholders including hospitals, medical schools, faculty, residents, and students.
  • Maintain medical student files and documents according to HCA records retention policies.
  • Enter requests for network, software, and badge access.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
