Responsible for management of operations for the medical staff offices of UCSF Health Hyde and Stanyan. Implements credentialing and privileging functions, processes, and monitors assigned staff compliance. Assists the Director in recruiting, selecting, and developing new/existing talent to support credentialing, privileging and governance in a high-volume, fast-paced community hospital environment. Manages the team in the appropriate application processing of new and existing providers, and ongoing competency review processes for providers who render patient care at UCSF Health Hyde and Stanyan and clinics. Manages the monthly approval process and appropriate follow-up of recommendations & approvals through regularly held committee review bodies. Applies functional knowledge and development of medical staff credentialing and privileging standards/policies and operations to advise and collaborate with UCSF Health Hyde and Stanyan leadership in accomplishing strategic initiatives. Compensation: The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. The annual salary range for this position is $81,300-$172,300.
