A Day in the Life of a Hospice Social Worker As a Hospice Social Worker, your day is centered on connection and care. You’ll meet with patients and families, provide emotional support, coordinate resources, and help navigate the journey of hospice care. As a Social Worker in this role, you’ll collaborate with nurses and the IDG team, advocate for patient needs, and bring calm and clarity during life’s most meaningful moments.
