Medical Social Worker (LICSW)
About The Position
Jefferson Healthcare is seeking an on call, per diem Medical Social Worker to join our Emergency Department Team. In this role, you will deliver short-term services to support patients and families in managing personal, financial, psychosocial, and environmental challenges related to the patient's medical or psychiatric conditions by connecting them with valuable community resources. Our Emergency Department and Case Management team are collaborative groups committed to serving our patients and community.
Requirements
- Washington State Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker (LICSW)
- Two (2) years recent LCISW experience in health care setting
- Minimum two years Social Worker experience in healthcare setting, clinical social work in similar setting
- Experience in working with specific patient populations that may include but are not limited to: children, frail elderly, vulnerable adults, and patients impacted by mental illness
- May require valid Washington state driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in AIMS collaborative care primary care clinic is a plus
