About The Position

Join Emplify Health by Gundersen and help patients heal, rejuvenate, and restore confidence through advanced medical skin care treatments. As a Medical Skin Care Technician , you will work independently with limited oversight from a Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon, providing specialized care for patients with skin conditions, trauma, and aging concerns.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Wisconsin Aesthetician License (AESTH) or Cosmetology License (COSMETOLOG) required
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (hands-on learning) from AHA or Red Cross required
• 3–4 years of experience providing aesthetician services

• Strong customer service and communication skills is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE through advanced skin care treatments such as microneedling/PRP, chemical peels, HydraFacial, dermaplaning, and microdermabrasion.
• Educate patients on proper skin care techniques, sun precautions, and pre/post-treatment instructions.
• Perform consultations and skin analysis, recommending treatment plans and home care regimens.
• Maintain competency through ongoing education and vendor training.
• Ensure safe equipment operation and compliance with OSHA and infection control standards.
• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems and maintain HIPAA compliance.
