Job Details Job Location: Compass BH Dodge City Outpatient Building - Dodge City, KS Salary Range: $17.00 - $21.64 Hourly Description Medical Services Navigator Full Time GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Will guide the person in service through the admission process. Complete all admission paperwork. Complete referrals to other programs Reminder calls for appointments. Schedule office visits Create collaborative relationships with staff across departments. Help coordinate care between providers. Assist providers with administrative tasks associated with person-in-service outcomes. Facilitate access to healthcare services (medical and behavioral) and community resources. Maintain all necessary paperwork directly related to the position and care of the person in services within the designated time frame. Possesses knowledge of healthcare systems, insurance plans, and patient resources COMPASS EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS: Arrive at work and depart as scheduled – discuss any schedule deviations with the supervisor in advance. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree in a social service- or healthcare-related field or equivalent experience. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Competent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products Ability to demonstrate flexibility and to adapt when faced with internal or external barriers, or when faced with differing points of view. Ability to anticipate next steps, be proactive, and collaborate with coworkers. Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills, able to effectively respond to difficult situations and resolve conflicts. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must have a current and valid Kansas driver’s license.
