About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. Requirements

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand medical conditions and treatments effectively.
• Proficiency in medical terminology to accurately document patient encounters.
• Experience with medical documentation systems and electronic health records (EHR).
• Excellent typing skills for efficient transcription of notes during patient visits.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with ER procedures is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions during examinations and consultations.
• Document medical histories, physical examinations, and other relevant patient information in electronic health records (EHR).
• Maintain organized medical documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Assist in the management of medical records, including retrieval and filing of documents as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate representation of clinical information.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance documentation accuracy.
• Support the healthcare team by facilitating communication between patients and providers.
