About The Position

Boulder Community Health is seeking a Medical Scribe who performs clerical and information technology functions for a physician in a clinical setting. This includes accurately and thoroughly documenting medical visits as they are performed by the physician.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a healthcare related field.
• Medical Scribe Certification, preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant, preferred.
• No prior scribe experience required.

Responsibilities

• Accompanies physician into the patient examination room to transcribe patient's history and physical exam, and the physician's encounter with the patient.
• Transcribes all diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.
• Documents all procedure performed by the physician.
