About The Position
The Medical Scribe is responsible for providing accurate documentation to patient charts at the physician's direction. Under the supervision of a Physician, Mid-Level Provider, and Practice Manager and/or Lead Medical Assistant, the scribe assists the medical provider to be more efficient and productive. This includes entering data into patient's electronic record, scanning and indexing documents accurately to patient's electronic medical records, transcribing the patient's history and physical exam, documenting consultations, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and performing other duties as assigned by Clinical Coordinator, Physician and Mid-Level provider.
