Specialties you could work with: Primary Care (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics), Surgical Specialties (Orthopedic, General, Breast, Urology, Dermatology), Medical Specialties (Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary, Radiation Oncology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Management).
Requirements
- Consistent availability
- Reliable transportation
- Typing test score of 60+ WPM
- Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Scribe in real-time while accompanying physician during clinic, documenting patient information into the EMR (history, chief complaint, review of systems, physical exam, assessment and plan).
- Input orders as directed by the provider including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.
- Handle any and all patient information with the utmost compliance to HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate any provider's schedule changes to the client services team.
- Support your provider's clinical hours.
