Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations.

Requirements

• Must type at least 60 wpm with accuracy
• Must be proficient with computers
• Reliable transportation is a MUST!
• Willing/able to travel to all GI locations (Provo, Spanish Fork, American Fork)

Nice To Haves

• Previous scribe or transcription experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Previous clinical experience preferred
• A working knowledge of electronic medical records preferred

Responsibilities

• Accompanies physician into clinic visit and creates clinic note
• Order labs and prescriptions as requested by physician
• Maintains patient records and other information as requested by the physician
• Records the office visits via electronic templates on behalf of physician
• Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients and contributes to a positive work environment
• Assist with ordering labs and medications
