Responsibilities

• Provides real time chart documentation for physicians with the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Records patient's history and diagnoses in the EHR as relayed by patient and/or physician.
• Determines pertinent specifics of physical exam that should be recorded in the patient's EHR.
• Places orders in the EHR for diagnostic testing and orders for prescriptions as indicated by physician.
• Records diagnostic and pathologic results into the chart as determined by physician.
• Outlines the physician's medical impression and prepares the plan of follow-up care as indicated by the physician.
• Assists patients when necessary and answers patient questions where appropriate.
• Completes MIPS criteria as indicated during the patient exam.
