About The Position

Dao Medical Group is seeking a Medical Scribe to support physicians by documenting patient encounters and transcribing medical information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient histories, physical exams, and physician instructions.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Vietnamese.
• Computer savvy with efficient typing skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Previous experience as a medical scribe is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accompany physician in the patient examination room to transcribe history and physical exam.
• Document the physician's encounter with the patient into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.
• Transcribe patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications as dictated by the physician.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
