About The Position

The Medical Scribe in Cardiology is responsible for transcribing and documenting clinical visits in real-time as dictated by the provider. This role involves close collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. The scribe will track lab results and enter data from ordered tests, working in both exam rooms with patients and in office settings with providers.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Medical Scribe program or 6 months of previous experience as a Medical Assistant or Medical Scribe.
• Experience with electronic medical records.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience in general hospital medical/surgical and/or ambulatory care transcription.

Responsibilities
