About The Position

You will be a Medical Science Liaison and Patient Engagement Manager supporting healthcare professionals, researchers and patient groups across the Philippines. You will build trusted scientific relationships, enable clinical research and lead patient engagement activities that bring the patient voice into our medical strategy. You will work closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Access and commercial teams. We value clear communication, ethical scientific engagement, curiosity and teamwork. Requirements

• Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, allied health or a life sciences discipline relevant to healthcare.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Medical Science Liaison, Patient Engagement Manager, or similar medical affairs or clinical research role.
• Strong clinical knowledge relevant to the therapeutic area you will cover and comfort discussing scientific evidence with HCPs.
• Demonstrable experience working with patient groups, advocacy organisations or patient engagement activities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino or other local language as relevant.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the Philippines for field and site activities.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree or postgraduate training in clinical research, public health, pharmacology, nursing or a related field.
• Experience supporting clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies or feasibility/site activation.
• Prior experience developing patient engagement programs or working with patient advisory boards.
• Familiarity with the Philippine healthcare system and local research environment.
• Experience working with global and cross-functional teams in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proficiency with digital tools for presentations, data capture and medical information systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted, evidence-based relationships with clinicians, investigators and patient organisations across the Philippines.
• Deliver balanced scientific education and medical information through one-to-one meetings, advisory boards, workshops and congress activities.
• Identify and support clinical investigators and sites to enable clinical studies and patient recruitment.
• Design and lead patient engagement initiatives to capture lived experience, improve study design and inform local medical plans.
• Capture, synthesise and report scientific and patient insights from the field to inform local and global medical strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to align scientific, clinical research and patient engagement priorities.
