About The Position

TPAPT is looking for experienced Medical School Admissions Coaches to guide pre-med students through the complex process of applying to medical schools across the United States. As an admissions coach, you will provide personalized support to help students craft compelling applications, prepare for interviews, and strategize their medical school journey.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years experience in medical school admissions counseling or related advising roles.
Deep knowledge of the medical school admissions process and criteria.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to coach and motivate students effectively.
Familiarity with virtual communication tools such as Zoom or Google Meet.
Flexible availability, typically 3-12 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with students to develop and refine their medical school applications, including personal statements and secondary essays.
Assist students with interview preparation, including mock interviews and feedback.
Provide guidance on selecting medical schools that align with students' goals and qualifications.
Advise students on building a competitive profile including extracurricular activities, clinical experience, and research.
Collaborate with students to develop a strategic timeline for completing applications and requirements.
