About The Position

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is hiring a Healthcare Scheduling Representative to support our centralized scheduling team at our Downtown Sarasota headquarters.

This is a phone-based role supporting multiple clinic locations. While this position works closely with our clinics, it is not a front desk role and does not involve direct patient check-in or clinical duties.

This role is a good fit for candidates with experience in medical offices, healthcare call centers, patient services, or high-volume scheduling who are looking for a stable, structured healthcare role.

Requirements

• Experience in medical offices, healthcare scheduling, patient services, or call centers
• Comfortable spending a large portion of the day on the phone
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn EMR systems

Nice To Haves

• Direct medical scheduling experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right candidate with strong healthcare or call center experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and adjust patient appointments using an electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients
• Support scheduling needs for multiple clinic locations
• Enter and update patient and insurance information accurately
• Explain appointment expectations and next steps clearly and professionally
• Provide calm, patient-focused service in a fast-paced environment
