About The Position

The Home Health Scheduling Specialist is responsible for ensuring that incoming orders are logged and scheduled efficiently and that all customer and/or patient concerns are addressed urgently. The ideal candidate will have diligent attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be self-motivated to achieve daily scheduling goals. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

Monitor incoming faxes and emails for new lab orders.
Log all orders, save files, and verify for completeness.
Communicate incomplete orders to the Sales team for follow-up.
Schedule patient draws via phone, aligning with defined route schedules and customer needs.
Communicate scheduled orders, questions, and concerns to internal contacts via email and phone.
Address and/or escalate patient or customer issues promptly.
Maintain detailed notes on all customer interactions and scheduled draws.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations and organizational goals.
