This role is ideal for licensed Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) with a strong clinical background and a passion for advancing medical research. You will provide medical oversight for clinical trials, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to the development of innovative treatments that improve patient care. What You Will Be Doing: Serve as a medical consultant on research teams, acting as lead sub-investigator or sub-investigator for clinical trials. Perform medical supervision for study participants, including physical exams, ECG interpretation, and screening assessments to determine eligibility. Monitor and document patient progress, adverse events, and serious adverse event narratives; provide emergency care when necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support site initiation, patient recruitment, and accurate data collection. Review and contribute to study materials such as informed consent forms, case report forms, and study manuals. Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Stay current on medical research trends and best practices to enhance trial quality and efficiency. Your Profile: Required: Active license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Minimum 2 of clinical experience in patient care and/or clinical research. Preferred: Previous experience as a sub-investigator or in clinical trial oversight. Strong knowledge of standard clinical processes, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols. Skills: Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration. Ability to analyze and interpret medical data accurately. Attributes: Commitment to ethical standards and patient safety.
