Medical Refill Specialist

Learn more about us at www.lchcs.com Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate with at least 3 years of previous experience in a clinical setting. Pharmacy Tech experience required and prior knowledge of medication names, dosages, and uses is necessary. Job duties include but are not limited to: Assist providers with completing medication refills including answering patient questions, phone calls from patients, and pharmacies Complete proper paperwork for refills Learn the computer system and develop and maintain an electronic system for completion of refills Handle prior authorizations for refills Handle the patient assistance program for refills Maintain a well-organized process and be self-driven Salary scales are a range of pay and offers are made to applicants based upon the requirements of the particular position. Applicants with “previous like skills” may not be given the same weight and consideration as “previous specific same skills”: i.e., For a Medical Receptionist position, “Previous clerical skills” may not be preferred over “Previous Medical Clerical Skills”
