About The Position

The Medical Records Coordinator supports the daily operations of the College of Optometry’s Medical Records function, ensuring the accurate, secure, and compliant handling of patient health information. This role provides essential support to patients, clinicians, student providers, and staff by managing document imaging, responding to records and information requests, maintaining chart integrity within the electronic health record (EHR), and ensuring compliance with HIPAA, state, federal, and university retention policies.
