Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in diversified office work preferred; Medical Records experience is highly desirable.
  • Basic word processing skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks under deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and professional communication skills (in-person and phone).
  • Detail-oriented, ability to work independently, and comfortable managing sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Clinical Records: Assist in the maintenance, retrieval, and organization of both paper and digital clinical records.
  • Ensure Compliance: Work with the Records Manager to ensure all documentation adheres to legal, State, and Federal regulations.
  • Support the QA Team: Participate in Quality Assurance projects designed to improve processes and organizational efficiencies.
  • Respond to Requests: Efficiently handle requests for information from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle Data with Care: Securely manage purged records and digital archives, handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Impact: You will directly support quality improvement and risk management initiatives, ensuring we meet crucial State and Federal standards.
