This position provides medical records and scanning support to the department. The role involves maintaining scanning folders, monitoring stat scanning to ensure availability in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) within two hours of receipt, and managing the distribution of faxes and mail. Key responsibilities also include monitoring and filing Batch (DISC Fax) documents through Epic, Allscripts, and TouchChart, retrieving archive records via HITS or microfiche for scanning into the EHR, and reconciling failed faxes in the EHR. The individual will attend meetings approximately once a month and perform other assigned duties.
