JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Manager or designee, maintains medical record integrity through analyzing and processing medical data entry in patient records information, performs audits, assists physicians in chart deficiencies, preps, scans, and indexes into the Horizon Patient Folder on a daily basis. Responds to requests for highly confidential medical information from a variety of sources. Performs duties in accordance with established hospital and department policy and procedure also in accordance to the state and federal guidelines.
