About The Position

The Visiting Nurse Association is seeking a Medical Records Clerk/Driver to work with our mobile unit. This person will assume primary responsibility for driving the mobile unit to clinic sites and will assist with the day-to-day operations of the mobile unit including: registering patients, data entry of patient information, and janitorial duties as assigned. Candidates for this position must be highly motivated, dependable, and must be able to work independently. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of autonomy, be able to demonstrate strong and effective communication skills and must have strong organizational and computer skills. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Valid CDL required.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training required.

Responsibilities

• Must have valid CDL license. Drives to clinic sites and sets up mobile unit paying particular attention to site safety.
• Greets patients, directs and performs any pre-visit paperwork, entering information into the computer.
• Keeps a schedule of appointments and completes post visit paperwork.
• Assists ARNP with physical lifting/moving of patients if necessary.
• Maintains complete patient records.
• Clean and maintain interior of unit: floors, bathroom, etc.
• Keep a log book for referrals and or lab work for follow-up.
