About The Position

Requirements

• Previous experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records), preferably eClinicalWorks (ECW) Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
• Previous healthcare or health insurance experience.
• Administrative experience in the medical field.
• Ability to work at the CenterWell Care clinic located in the North Buckner, Arlington, Grand Prairie, or Garland area.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in a related field.
• Clinic and/or Hospital Medical Records experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and maintain patients' health information in medical records and charts.
• Ensure all forms are properly identified, completed, and signed.
• Enter all necessary information into the system.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional information.
• Assign codes to each diagnosis and procedure as needed.
