About The Position

Assisting the records, scheduling, and QA teams with administrative support.

Requirements

  • Must have strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Maintains knowledge of and complies with company compliance and standards, policies, and procedures, including Company’s Employee Handbook.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of office services and in the use of all relevant office equipment, computer, and manual systems.
  • Maintains strict patient and employee confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Serves as a role model, by demonstrating exceptional ability and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities. Embraces new ideas and respects cultural differences.
  • Uses resources efficiently. Follow established protocols.
  • Monitors, organizes, and keeps work area neat.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a professional office setting, Office 365 Suite experience.

Responsibilities

  • Contact claimants to confirm upcoming appointments when needed.
  • Contact doctors to obtain appointment statuses (show/no show) when needed.
  • Assist the staff in answering any incoming calls when needed.
  • Request medical records from our clients daily.
  • Process incoming medical records (received via USPS, couriers, email or portable storage devices). All records and images must be accessed and logged into MyMedlogix and processed appropriately (Chronological or By Providers).
  • Scan and send out Medical Records to Physicians daily (via UPS, email or fax).
  • Send out follow up requests to clients for medical records and/or Physician cover letters.
  • File No show charts and media storage in file room.
  • Support other offices, attend meetings, and complete training as assigned.
