Premier HealthCare provides medical, dental, and psychiatric services to everyone and specializes in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Premier’s clinics offer people with I/DD access to high-quality primary care and specialty outpatient services with doctors and other professionals trained in their unique needs. The position provides the opportunity to gain exposure and experience working (with/in) a medical records department in an article 28 clinical setting. The students can expect to do work such as working with patient’s information; assisting with medical records archiving project. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their knowledge and experience with medical information and technology along with HIPAA and compliance laws.
