The Medical Records Assistant provides support to staff and the medical records department by assisting with monitoring and maintaining timely and complete medical records of clients. Accuracy and thoroughness are important, as they may affect the legal liability of the facility. Ensures professional contact with all levels of staff and other stakeholders, including nursing staff, supervisors, physicians, clients, and families. The “Courtyard at Idylwood” is a 106-bed skilled nursing facility providing services for individuals with a combination of medical and behavioral needs. Services focus on skilled nursing, along with specific clinical programming addressing behavioral needs. The facility is near the freeway and surrounded by shopping and restaurants. Requirements

  • High school graduate/GED.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in medical records or ward clerk position.

Nice To Haves

  • Skilled Nursing Faculty experience preferred.
