About The Position

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) and Hümi, one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology medical practices, is seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist for their Astoria office location. This role is crucial as the receptionist will be the face of the practice for many patients. ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is the largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practice in the country, with over 475 clinicians practicing across 70+ clinical locations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Each ENTA clinical office features world-class physicians specializing in various fields, providing high-level expertise and care to patients of all ages. Their comprehensive services include Adult and Pediatric ENT and Allergy, Voice and Swallowing, Advanced Sinus and Skull Base Surgery, Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, Treatment of Inner Ear Disorders and Dizziness, Asthma-related services, Diagnostic Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing, Sleep and CT Services. Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work the required schedule: Monday: 11:30am-8:00pm, Tuesday: 11:30am-8:00pm, Wednesday: 11:30am-8:00pm, Thursday: 11:30am-8:00pm, Saturday: 7:30am-4:00pm (schedule subject to change based on physician schedules)

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Assisting incoming patients
  • Verifying insurance coverage
  • Entering patient demographics into the computer

  • Being the face of the practice for the many patients who need help
