About The Position

Peninsula Pain Clinic is located in beautiful Kitsap County, Washington, and has proudly served the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsula communities for over 20 years. As a premier pain management clinic in the region, we are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives. We are currently expanding our team and seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. In this role, you will be the first and last point of contact for our patients-playing a vital part in creating a supportive, professional, and positive patient experience.

Requirements

• A reliable and dependable team player
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Positive, professional, and patient-focused
• An excellent communicator (in person and on the phone)
• Comfortable with computers and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Able to multitask effectively in a busy clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly, courteously, and professionally
• Schedule appointments for new and established patients
• Collect co-pays and verify insurance information
• Contact patients regarding no-shows and pre-operative instructions
• Answer phones, screen and direct calls, take messages, and provide information
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
• Perform scanning, filing, and general administrative duties
