About The Position

As a Receptionist, you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to Shari Thomas, Center Administrator. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic setting and enjoys making a positive impact on others. CenterWell Senior Primary Care provides proactive, preventive care to seniors, including wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, minor injury treatment and more. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered
  • Convey information and maintain a positive, tone during calls
  • Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow
  • Experience using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization
  • Experience improving patient care and experience
  • Required to be screened for TB upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EMR systems

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
  • Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
  • Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
  • Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
