Evernorth Workplace Care - Personalized Care Where You Are Medical Receptionist – Bilingual Spanish - Evernorth – Midland TX The Medical Receptionist (Medical Administrative Senior Rep) is an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team who functions under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and/or licensed physician. The position provides professional, courteous, and friendly assistance to our customers. Coordinates appointments, handles multiple phone calls, and reschedules/confirm appointments. May handle cash, coordinate, schedule and follow up on phases of a surgery procedure and/or specialty referral appointment. Provides exceptional customer service and maintains patient confidentiality. Interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments; physicians, patients, families as well as external contacts, such as employees of other healthcare institutions, community providers and agencies concerning the healthcare of the patient. Responsible for the adoption and demonstration of the Consumer Health Engagement cultural beliefs. Be a role model for the six cultural beliefs to drive personal accountability and organizational results. What we expect from you:

Requirements

  • GED/High School Degree
  • At least 1 or more years of medical receptionist experience
  • At least 1 or more years of experience in cash handling, typing, scheduling applications experience preferred.
  • At least 1 or more years of customer service experience
  • Ability to convey information to customers in a warm, clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to always maintain strictest level of patient confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid Computer skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team oriented
  • Strong time management skills
  • Responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work health center hours
  • Bilingual Spanish
