For more information, visit www.eyecare-partners.com. The position is for a Medical Receptionist (Patient Coordinator) at Deer Creek Surgery Center located in Overland Park, KS. This is a full-time role with open availability required to work any/all shifts within the office hours of Monday-Thursday 6:45am-5:45pm.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate patient flow
  • Verify medical and vision insurances
  • Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and managers
  • Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in person requests
  • Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter
  • Answer phones (both external and internal) and assure prompt, courteous service
  • Manage patient flow in the office
  • Knowledge of common fees charged for common visits and collect correct payments
  • Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer
  • Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned by manager

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Favorable result on Background Check
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excitement to learn and grow
