About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility located at 1329 Lusitana Street, Honolulu, HI 96813. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a medical setting. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive a warm welcome and efficient service upon their arrival at our facility. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, and as such, must exhibit professionalism and friendliness at all times. In this position, you will greet patients and visitors, schedule appointments, and assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures. You will also be responsible for verifying insurance coverage and processing insurance claims, which requires a keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of insurance verification procedures. Collecting and recording patient information accurately is essential, as is maintaining the confidentiality of patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations. Additionally, the Medical Receptionist will assist with medical collections and billing inquiries, coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and staff, and ensure that the front desk operates smoothly. This role requires a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care, as you will be instrumental in creating a positive experience for our patients.
