About The Position

SSM Health Physical Therapy - Outpatient Division is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) for the Fenton/Valley Park, MO location. This is an entry-level position with a starting pay of $18 per hour, which may increase based on education and experience. The role is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week with a set schedule of four 10-hour days, with Mondays off and working hours from Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Requirements

• High School degree or diploma required
• Basic knowledge of computer skills including keyboard familiarity and word processing
• Office procedures, filing, verbal and written communication skills, fax, photocopy required
• Customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with staff members, supportive personnel, patients, physicians, and community members required

Nice To Haves

• One year in a medical office setting that required multitasking preferred
• Knowledge of health insurance preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets patients
• Answers phones
