We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist / Patient Service Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will create an exceptional first impression for patients and support both the clinical and administrative operations of the office.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in medical office software and electronic records systems.
  • MediClear Certification (or equivalent healthcare compliance credential) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a medical or therapy office preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and register patients, ensuring a positive and efficient check-in process.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments (in-person and by phone).
  • Handle patient check-out, including scheduling follow-ups and explaining next-step care.
  • Verify insurance coverage, process authorizations, and collect co-pays or outstanding balances.
  • Communicate with insurance providers, attorney offices, and other third-party partners as needed.
  • Maintain accuracy in patient records, billing, and data entry.
