About The Position
The Medical Promotional Review Consultant is responsible for providing compliant, medically accurate and scientifically sound solutions while providing marketing with competitive solutions for consumer, healthcare provider and managed care promotional and non-promotional materials. This role involves reviewing independent scientific/medical/clinical materials for established brand and derivative materials for assigned projects. The consultant acts as lead for the Medical role during Promotion Review Committee (PRC) meetings and oversees the medical advertising promotional review process. They provide guidance on the medical/scientific support for PRC and, if necessary, elevate risks to their manager/line manager within the client. The consultant will provide detailed reviews of promotional, disease awareness, and medical materials, participate in cross-functional team meetings, and communicate information from promotion review meetings to the broader Medical team. They will also partner with job owners and other stakeholders in executing and creating tactics related to label changes for assigned brands, stay updated with relevant clinical data, publications, and treatment guidelines, and monitor the US regulatory promotional environment.
