Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 1 year customer related experience required
  • Ability to travel between practices as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and welcomes patients upon arrival and communicates pleasantly and effectively.
  • Ensures accuracy of patient's information, including demographics and insurance.
  • Answers phones, routes call, takes messages, and assures accurate communication both verbally and via the EMR system
  • Registers, verifies, and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals.
  • Schedules and reschedules appointments according to office protocols
  • Monitor applications and manage worklists as applicable.
  • Collects co-pays and reconciles money for deposit.
  • Obtains and coordinates record retrieval for new and established patients.
  • Performs intake and processing of medical records and other documentation where applicable.
  • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
  • Maintains and Models the Organization values.
  • Demonstrates regular, dependable, and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
